Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) is part of our Terms of Service. By using TideBrief (operated by PLAY PLAY CARDS SRL), you agree not to do any of the following.
You will not
- Scrape, mass-download, or programmatically extract Briefs or other content from the Service without our prior written consent. The free preview is for individual evaluation, not for building datasets.
- Resell, syndicate, republish, or sublicense any Brief, in whole or in part, to anyone outside your household. Briefs are licensed for personal, non-commercial use.
- Train AI/ML models on Briefs, our prompts, our schema, or any output of the Service.
- Reverse-engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code or trade secrets from the Service.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network without our written authorization. To report a security issue responsibly, email security@tidebrief.com.
- Interfere with or disruptthe Service, our infrastructure, or other users — including via denial-of-service attacks, flooding, or sending malformed requests on purpose.
- Use the Service for unlawful activity, including violating fishing regulations, environmental law, sanctions, or any other law of your jurisdiction.
- Misrepresent your identity, impersonate another person, or use someone else’s payment method without authorization.
- Share account credentialswith anyone outside your household, or create accounts in someone else’s name.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse our team. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that mistreat support staff.
- Bypass paywalls or access controls, or share access tokens, magic links, or one-time codes outside your account.
- Use the Service to send spam or to forward Briefs in a way that could constitute unsolicited commercial email (CAN-SPAM, CASL, ePrivacy).
- Access the Service in violation of the U.S. Computer Fraud and Abuse Act(18 U.S.C. § 1030), the U.K. Computer Misuse Act 1990, or any equivalent computer-misuse law — including accessing protected systems without authorization, exceeding authorized access, or using stolen, shared, or guessed credentials.
- Create multiple accounts to bypass free-trial limits, evade a suspension, abuse promotional pricing, or stage coordinated activity, or use any automated means to register accounts.
- Use the Service from, or on behalf of any person located in, ordinarily resident in, or a national of, any country or territory subject to a comprehensive U.S. embargo(currently Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, so-called Donetsk People’s Republic, and so-called Luhansk People’s Republic regions of Ukraine), or if you appear on a U.S., EU, UK, or UN sanctions or denied-parties list.
- Use the Service in connection with any illegal fishing activity, including poaching, exceeding bag limits, fishing without a license, fishing in closed waters or out of season, taking protected species, or any activity prohibited under the Magnuson-Stevens Act, Lacey Act, Marine Mammal Protection Act, Endangered Species Act, Migratory Bird Treaty Act, or any state counterpart.
- Use the Service to develop a competing product or to benchmark, evaluate, or train any AI/ML system or fishing forecasting product, or to extract bulk data for resale.
- Generate, transmit, or store through the Service any content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, sexually exploitative of minors, or that infringes any intellectual-property or privacy right.
Reporting abuse
Email abuse@tidebrief.com with details. We investigate every report.
Enforcement
Violations may result in warning, throttling, suspension, or termination of your account, plus potential legal action. We may cooperate with law-enforcement requests as required by law.
